Application Process

1. Submit the online application to SWAU.
2. Submit the online application to the NAD.
3. Go to the Office of Spiritual Development to:
   • Pre-screening interview
   • Submit $125 application fee
   • Sign and date NAD application form and other docuements. These documents will be completed for you using the infomation from the online application.
   • Obtain the health form to be completed by your physician
   • Submit Resume/Motivation/Christian Witnessing Form
   • Receive fund raising packet
   • Obtain recommendation forms for:
     
     • Pastor or Church Elder
     • Major Professor
     • Professor
     • Work Supervisor
4. Select Call
   • Student Missions
   • Task Force
5. Sign up for RLGN 210 in Spring - Introduction to Missions class
6. Medical
   • Return completed health form
   • Immunizations
7. Begin fund raising
8. Get two (2) pictures made
9. Obtain passport
10. Obtain Visa (if necessary)
11. Visit Student Financial Services
    • Receive clearance (all bills paid off)
    • Student loan deferral payment ($600 per year -- Student Financial Services)
12. Student Missions Screening Committee Interview
13. Spiritual Development Committee Acceptance
14. North American Division Acceptance
15. General Conference Acceptance (for International Service)
    
16. Host Division Acceptance
17. Book flight
18. Bon voyage!

We can't process your request unless you do your part with the paperwork first. The sooner you finish the more likely you are to go to the country you want to go to.
